Survey-Tested, Kid-Approved

What's the best place to live for your kids? Move to Des Moines, Iowa or Spokane, Washington. They get an "A+" for being kid-friendly.

A new survey by a group called "Population Connection" grades 100 U.S. cities on how "kid-friendly" they are. The survey takes into account factors such as child welfare, education and health.

In the state, Colorado Springs gets a "B+" while Aurora gets a "B". For major cities, Denver scores a "B" plus also.

The survey shows the best major cities for your kids are Seattle and Boston, but cancel that move to New Orleans or Birmingham, Alabama.
