Cheney made his remarks in Lincoln, Nebraska this morning, at a
fundraising breakfast for a congressional candidate.
He again defended the administration's decision to attack Iraq,
saying quote ``The United States will never seek a permission
slip to defend the security of our country.''
Cheney is scheduled to travel to Colorado later today, and is
expected to give a speech on the economy.
He's also expected to take part in a Vail forum focusing on
critical issues facing the nation.
