A top leader at the Air Force Academy, criticized for his handling of the sex scandal, is retiring.
Brigadier General David Wagie has been Dean of Faculty since 1998. Back in September, a congressional panel singled him out saying he failed to recognize the growing number of sexual assault reports at the academy.
Wagie will officially retire Aug. 1. So far, a replacement has not been named.
