The Army confirmed Monday that the Article 32 hearing for Private Lynndie England will begin June 22nd at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Originally Private England's Denver based legal team had said the hearing would begin on Monday, June 21st.
England faces 14 charges, including three counts of assault against Iraqi detainees at the Abu Ghraib prison in Baghdad. England appeared in the now notorious photographs in which she pointed at Iraqi prisoners' genitals and held a leash attached to a prisoner.
An Article 32 hearing is similar to a civilian grand jury hearing except that the accused person can be present, ask questions, call witnesses and testify.
