Authorities report the body of Beth Rice was found early Saturday morning. Rice was reported missing the week of January 10th.

Detective Mike DeLaurentis tells 11 News at 10:30 Saturday morning Rice's body was found northeast of Florence in the Arkansas River by Fremont County Search and Rescue. The area is approximately one half-mile off of Highway 115 behind the Blue Heron Recreation Area.

Authorities tell 11 News that investigators do not suspect foul play.

Earlier this month, more than 150 people searched neighborhoods and surrounding areas near Rice's apartment when some of her personal belongings were found along the Arkansas River. Search and Rescue teams from Custer, Pueblo, and El Paso counties were dispatched as well.

Two airplanes conducted an aerial search of the banks of the Arkansas River, while bloodhounds and cadaver dogs followed Rice's scent through the streets and fields.

The large-scale search for Rice was called off late last week.

Services are planned for Beth Rice at 2 pm on Monday, January 25th at the Evangelical Free Church in Canon City.

There are few good people in this world, but Beth was one of them. I have never heard a bad thing said about her. I went out to eat with her once and saw the true beauty in her. She was a very caring, loving person. I wish I had been with her that day. It hurts me to think about her hurting and alone. I know if there had been any clues of her pain her family would have died for her, and would have been there. WeWe just never know. She will be missed!!!

I am so sorry for this families lose. As members of a Search and Rescue team I am so glad that we were able to find her and give this family some closure. Yes you are correct, unless you are involved there is no need to be talking about this in a negative way to others. My prayers are with her family and god bless you Beth.
