We all could use a fresh start from time to time. Now three rescued huskies are getting a second chance at life.

They are going up for adoption on Saturday at 11 am at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region.

All three dogs are four years old and have been neutered.

They have been recovering after being discovered at a Park County, CO dog sledding business neglected and malnourished.

They are seeking special homes with people who have the time, patience, and knowledge it will take for rehabilitation.

They are still underweight so they will require small, more frequent meals throughout the day while they gain weight.

Since they have been chained outdoors their entire lives, obedience training and socialization are a must.

Through positive reinforcement, they will need to learn how to behave indoors and how to be comfortable around people. With the right family, animal experts believe these dogs have great potential.

Jo, if you'd read the initial story, you'd know that only 4 of the dogs have been at the Humane Society, most went to other organizations, and some have been put up for adoption in other places but some haven't yet.

Weren't there something like 100 dogs taken from those people? What happened to the others? Do I even want to know?
