Snow showers will be possible by early Sunday morning across the I-25 corridor with a change to rain and snow showers through the afternoon. Accumulation should be minimal as most moisture looks to be light and temperatures will warm into the upper 30s and 40s through the afternoon. Denver International Airport officials Thursday reported 3.73 million passengers used the airport in April, a 33.2 percent increase from the same month last year.
Through April, 13.6 million people have traveled through the airport , a 19.4 percent increase from the same period last year.
Airport officials say most airlines saw an increase in passengers, with the largest numbers posted by United Airlines and Frontier Airlines.
The increase is welcomed by officials, but they also warn that a cutback in the number of federal security screeners could mean longer lines this summer.
