Colorado Springs police say they are searching for an armed man who robbed the Allied Cash Advance at 1580 Space Center Drive in Colorado Springs Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the man walked in, showed a gun and demanded cash. The suspect was able to get away on foot with an unknown amount of cash. Police say a female clerk working at the business was tied up during the ordeal, but it's unclear if she was tied up during the robbery or just before the robber fled the scene.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, 6 feet tall and 200 lbs, with red-ish/blonde hair and goatee, wearing black clothing with a black hat and black gloves. Police say he took off the hat and gloves after he left business.
