The Brighton Police Department is asking for help finding a missing woman. Investigators said her disappearance is suspicious.

Twenty-eight-year-old Julie Ann Kilgore was last seen about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon as she left her home in Brighton. Kilgore told her family that she would be back in about 15 minutes, but since then no one has heard from her and she hasn't answered her cell phone.

Kilgore was with her fiancé, 50-year-old Dennis Gene Cox. Her car was found about a block and a half from her home. Investigators say they are now believed to be in a turquoise 1993 Ford Taurus with Colorado license plate FFL972.

Investigators say it is not known if Kilgore left voluntarily or was the victim of a kidnapping. At this time, Cox is considered a person of interest until police get more information.

Kilgore is 5' 5" tall, weighs about 180 pounds, has blond to light brown hair and blue eyes. Cox is 5' 11" tall, weighs 190 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes. Anyone who sees either Kilgore or Cox should call the Brighton Police Department at 303-655-2324.
