Colorado Springs Police and Colorado State Patrol are looking for two suspects in a high speed chase from early Tuesday morning.

A little after 1 a.m., Woodland Park Police noticed a car going at a high rate of speed, around 90 miles per hour. When that car wouldn't stop, the chase was on. Pretty soon, the state patrol joined in the chase for what turned out to be a stolen car with three people inside.

The chase, reaching speeds of 100 miles per hour, took police and state patrol onto Highway 24, where the suspects got off on 31st street.

State patrol says the car ended up crashing in front of a home. The suspects, one man and two women, tried to run away.

Police were able to arrest the man, Michael Norris. The women got away, but police say one of them left her purse behind with identification inside.

State patrol tells 11 News the car used in the chase was stolen in the Colorado Springs area a few days ago. "I'm sorry to say keys were in the ignition. It's so important not to leave your car warming, I know it's convenient, but it's also dangerous and it could give these individuals a chance to use your car for other crimes," says Sgt. Lloyd Smith of the Colorado State Patrol.

This is a nice site with easy to read stories. May we ask for a little editing (?) or maybe a reporter who can spell and build grammatically correct sentences? Thank you very much.

So Thelma and Louise left their purses and ID's. One word for that: Boneheads. Good job CSP and CSPD!
