Body found near St. Mary's Falls A hiker in El Paso County found a partially decomposed body this morning west of Colorado Springs.

A hiker in El Paso County found a partially decomposed body this morning west of Colorado Springs.
Sheriff's spokesman Clif Northam says search teams were unable to recover the body when it was initially found near Cheyenne Canyon Road near St. Mary's Falls.
They have been working for hours to recover it.
The body was in steep terrain about seven miles from the trail and parking area.
Northam was hopeful that the body could be recovered before nightfall.
It's unclear how the body got into canyon.
