The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office is looking for a person of interest in the killing of Robert Piserchio, the brother-in-law of former Pueblo County Sheriff, and current Fountain Police Chief Dan Corsentino.

Authorities say 30-year-old Matthew Adam Barnes has two warrants out of El Paso County for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. He is also a person of interest in Piserchio's death, which occurred December 10 in Pueblo County.

Barnes, who is also known as Matthew Green is a white male 5’10”, brown hair, blue eyes. He is known to have driven a silver Saturn with CO license plate 757-JVG in the past and may still live in El Paso County.

Sheriff's investigators believe that Barnes may have some information about Piserchio's death. The 50-year-old inventor was found dead on his bedroom floor after volunteer firemen and Pueblo County Sheriff's deputies responded to a fire alarm at his home in early December.

Pueblo County Coroner, Dr. James Kramer says Piserchio suffered blunt force trauma to the head, and had burns covering 65-75 percent of his body, along with several puncture wounds to the torso and extremities.

The coroner is waiting for toxicology and carbon monoxide reports to come back before finalizing the cause of death.

The killing of Robert Piserchio is still under investigation. No arrests have been yet in the case.
