ATV's Recall

About 45,000 all-terrain vehicles or "ATV's" are being recalled, due to a suspension problem that can cause the vehicles to overturn. The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the voluntary recall from Arctic Cat on Tuesday. There have been 73 reports of broken front suspensions, resulting in ten injuries.

The Arctic ATV models included in the recall are the 250, 300, 300 Massey Ferguson, 375, 400, 400i, 500, tbx 500 and 500i. The ATV's were sold at Artic Cat dealerships nationwide from June 2001 through June 12th of this year. They sold for between 4,000 and 6,500 dollars.

Consumers are urged to stop using the vehicles immediately and call arctic cat at 800-210-5941 to determine whether the vehicles they own are included in the recall.
