Colorado Attorney Fired

The lawyer for Lynndie England's family says he's fired a member of his defense team because he's experiencing legal troubles of his own in Colorado. Roy Hardy says he has nothing against Giorgio Ra'Shadd personally but was worried about whether he'd be able focus on the England case.

Ra'Shadd stands accused of mixing client money with his own and failing to return nearly $12,000 to the daughters of a dead woman. He goes on trial in September and could be suspended or loose his license to practice law. Ra'Shadd says his troubles became too much of a distraction and he's confident England's remaining three defense lawyers can handle the case.

England was shown in some the photos taken at the Iraqi prison that have made the abuse case an international scandal. The Army reservist from Fort Ashby, West Virginia is at Fort Bragg, North Carolina awaiting a court-martial.
