Snow and rain will continue to taper from north. Main roads should stay just wet overnight and through early Thursday. Secondary roads and any bridges and overpasses away from city warmth will be icy, so be careful. Locally dense fog will be an issue for the early morning too. A report concludes there were seven active hate groups in Colorado last year that were responsible for 21 incidents. They included swastikas left on churches and racist fliers distributed in response to the Kobe Bryant sexual assault case.
The Southern Poverty Law Center says the incidents happened
across the state.
According to the report, the most active hate group in Colorado was The
National Alliance. It's a neo-Nazi organization headquartered in West Virginia. Throughout 2003, the group distributed fliers with hate messages around 17 Colorado locations.
Other incidents included spray-painted swastikas on a Pentecostal church in Denver, and racial slurs left on doors of interracial couples in Greeley.
