The biggest concern for this afternoon/evening will be frigid temperatures. Highs will only max in the teens and 20s with breezy conditions and wind chills in the single digits. Throughout the afternoon, a few light snow showers are possible. Any accumulations should stay under 1" and is not a big concern. Rain showers and even some severe weather hit parts of Southern Colorado on Monday afternoon.
Around 4:30 p.m., a tornado was spotted about 30 miles southeast of Colorado Springs, in the Hanover area. No injuries or damage were reported, but the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for El Paso County.
