A top leader at the Air Force Academy says it could take 8 to 10 years to change negative attitudes surrounding the Academy's sexual assault scandal.
The Vice Vommandant of Vadets, Colonel Debra Gray, made those comments to an oversight board.
A recent survey shows 20 percent of male cadets resent having females at the school.
The board is meeting for 2 days at the Academy.
Last year, dozens of female cadets said they were punished or ignored when they reported sexual assaults.
