Army private first class Lynndie England says she was told to pose in pictures of abused Iraqi prisoners partly because she's female.
England told Denver's KCNC T-V in an exclusive interview that it's very embarrassing or humiliating in the Muslim culture to be naked in front of another female, especially an American.
When asked who gave her the orders, she would only say they came from persons in her higher chain of command.
England says her superiors praised the photos, telling her she was doing great.
KCNC taped the interview with England yesterday in North Carolina and began airing portions of it last night.
England's Denver-based attorney says intelligence agents used³her to humiliate prisoners so they could threaten more important prisoners with the same treatment.
