Colorado Springs police had to shut down a portion of the Hancock Expressway early Friday morning to investigate a serious injury crash.
One call rolled over just before 2:00 AM Friday morning at the intersection of Circle Drive and the Hancock Expressway.

Police believe another car may be involved in the accident but it apparently left the scene to bring some injured people to the hospital.

Police are calling it a serious injury accident and have called out their Major Accidents division out to investigate.

One person was taken away from the scene in an ambulance for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Hancock Expressway will be closed north and south of the scene at Delta Drive and just west of the bridge to the off ramp to Circle Drive until about 8:00 Friday morning.
