Governor Owens says he had a mole removed fromhis upper lip and is awaiting the results of a biopsy to determin if it was cancerous.
Reporters at a news conference this morning noticed a small
bandage on the governor's lip when he announced he was picking Jane
Norton to be his running mate.
Aides say the mole was removed yesterday morning and the
governor was back at work by nine a-m.
The governor says he has annual skin cancer checkups because he
grew up in the West and knows the risks of the disease.
