Colorado Springs Police responded to Memorial Central Emergency Room after a report of two men who had been stabbed Saturday night.
The victims told emergency room staff that they were assaulted at a bar in the area of Airport Rd. and Academy Blvd. During the investigation it was discovered they were actually stabbed in front of El Imperio Bar at 550 S. Academy Blvd.
People at the bar were celebrating a wedding reception when a fight broke out. El Imperio staff moved the fight out of the bar where it continued outside into the parking lot. That was when the two men were stabbed. Their injuries were determined to be non-life threatening.
