Driver Crashes Down 20 Foot Ditch
While accumulating snow has ended for Colorado Springs and Pueblo, snow (heavy at times) will continue north and northeast of Colorado Springs. A strong north wind will also create areas of blowing and drifting snow along with reduced visibility in these areas A BLIZZARD WARNING remains in effect through tonight for Northern El Paso County northward to the Denver Metro Area. Travel is NOT advised in this area.

Driver Crashes Down 20 Foot Ditch
Colorado State Patrol reported a that the driver of a silver SUV is suspected of driving under the influence after driving her vehicle off the road and down a 20 foot embankment.

Colorado State Patrol reported a that the driver of a silver SUV is suspected of driving under the influence after driving her vehicle off the road and down a 20 foot embankment.

Cimarron Hills Fire department responded to the call at Palmer Park near Powers Blvd. Saturday around 5:00 am and extracted the driver from her vehicle.

She was treated for possible neck or back injuries as a precaution and taken to a local hospital.
