She is TV's power house of a leading woman, and on Friday she made it final. Oprah Winfrey will say good-bye.

She is, however, giving her viewers plenty of notice. Oprah announced on Friday's show that she'll be calling it quits after her 25th season. But that isn't until September of 2011.

Nonetheless, her fans and even her foes are sad to see her go.

"After much prayer and months of careful thought, I've decided the next season, season 25, will be the last season of the 'Oprah Winfrey Show,'" Winfrey said.

The queen of daytime T.V. sent shock waves through millions. An easy feat considering she's been on the air since 1986. "I am Oprah Winfrey and welcome to the very first national Oprah Winfrey Show," said Winfrey in 1986.

Millions watch her everyday in 145 countries. She's impacted countless lives with her story. "I think of her as starting off with nothing and actually making something of herself," said Lisa Reid who lives in Colorado Springs.

Oprah has also impacted lots of people with her generosity. "You've got a car, you've got a car!" said Oprah in 2004 when she gave away 300 cars to audience members. "I think that, that is wonderful for all those people in the audience to receive the cars that they've received," said Reid.

Oprah will also be remembered as the woman who let Actor Tom Cruise jump on her couch. "Tom Cruise jumping up and down on the couch is pretty much the last time I ever watched Oprah," said Karla Lee-Estrada who lives in Colorado Springs.

But September 9th of 2011 will be everybody's last. "I love this show, this show has been my life and I love it enough to know when it's time to say good-bye," said Winfrey.

Oprah Winfrey built her media empire from the ground up which is now worth 3-billion-dollars.

Oprah also has her very own network called, OWN, or, the Oprah Winfrey Network. Its first show plans to air in just a couple of years.
