All valid points but when are we all going to say enough is enough. People react in different ways to a threat by just giving up the money to chasing them down risking the chance of being hurt or killed. If people would get involved by making these petty crimes harder to commit maybe people wouldnt try taking the law into their own hands. Yes let the police do their job but how many people act as if the police are the enemy and are not going to give a eye witness account of what happened or just dont want to get involved. Yes its only sandwich money but where do we draw the line? Most businesses will discourage chasing down criminals and others like Independent records use to have the whole store file out and chase a thief down and reward the person who caught the individual. So lets not call people or their actions stupid or any other silly name you can think of. Make it easy to knock of the subway then whats next little old ladies on the street with a purse or an old man with a wallet

"Give them the money and ask what they want on their sandwich!" You're so right SM.

While I am happy no one got hurt, It is just MONEY and not even yours...Why put yourself in a situation where your family would be without you forever? People get fired for doing stuff like that because it is STUPID. It also puts the owner at a great liability. Have been in this situation EXACTLY where the employee wasn't so lucky. Didn't another Subway get robbed a couple of years ago where the kid was shot for being a hero? Think about it! Give them the money and ask what they want on their sandwich. Live to see another day. Let the police deal with them...
