The Transportation Security Administration has some helpful holiday tips for those who may not travel on a regular basis.

The holiday season is right around the corner and Colorado Springs Airport officials want to remind passengers what they need to do to make their trip more enjoyable.

The Transportation Security Administration has some helpful holiday tips for those who may not travel on a regular basis.

Liquids, gels and aerosols as carry-ons must be in:

- 3 ounce containers or smaller.
- 1 quart, clear, plastic, zip-top bag.
- 1 bag per passenger placed in a plastic bin for screening.

More Travel Restrictions and Reminders:
- Use checked luggage as a fast option for liquids, gels and aerosols.
- Have I.D. and boarding pass out and ready before screening.
- Take off shoes and jackets during screening.
- Take laptops out of their case.
- Do not wrap gifts. Officers may have to search contents of packages.
- Get to the airport early.
