A collision between a semi-truck and a Ford Mustang Sunday morning near Pueblo ends with an unexplained trip to the hospital for one passenger.

A semi-truck and trailer, driven by Kosiak Stanislaw, 55, from Colorado Springs was driving in the left southbound lane when the mustang tried to pass him. The mustang skidded and hit the spare tire of the trailer with its right rear side.

That's when a passenger in the Mustang, Carol Luna, 46, from El Paso, Texas called authorities to notify them of the crash. When medical personnel arrived on scene, they say Luna became unresponsive and CPR was initiated. Luna is now being treated at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo.

The Mustang was being driven by Ernesto Yanez, 47, from El Paso, Texas.
At this time the injuries sustained to Luna are still under investigation.

Drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this crash and everyone involved was wearing their seat belt.
