Hundreds Camp Out To Win Year's Worth of Chick-fil-A
Things are all cleaned up outside the new Chick-Fil-A Store off Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. This after more than 100 chicken lovers camped out for one year of free food.

Things are all cleaned up Thursday outside the new Chick-fil-A Store off Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. This after more than 100 chicken lovers camped for hours to get one year's worth of free food.
Hundreds of people and dozens of tents could be seen filling the parking lot as early as Tuesday night. The doors of Chick-fil-A opened just after 6 a.m. Thursday. "They gave us a bunch of high fives," said chicken lover Eric Curtiss. "I think they gave us a bunch of coupons. I hope that's what's in the box. I'm gonna count them when I get home," he said.
Chick-fil-A officials told 11 News even folks not apart of the first 100, got a month's worth of free food just for camping out.
Richard Coley was first in line. He's no stranger to these Chick-Fil-A camp outs. "Well, this is a mini trip. I'm hitting three grand openings and three first 100s for a total of six grand openings in a total of two and a half weeks."
A friend of Coley even made him a shirt that says, "I sleep in Chick-Fil-A parking lots."

To lincoln: If Melissa is REALLY a size 20 & 320lbs, she must be tall and big boned - don't mess with her! Richard was the 'biggest' person at the GotG store opening, and having been there, and seen everyone, I know she couldn't actually be that big - Being nasty is only proving your LACK of intelligence and civility. THE CHICK-FIL-A GRAND OPENINGS ARE A WASTE OF TIME ANYMORE. MORE THEN 200 PEOPLE SHOW UP AT 6AM AND THEY DO A RAFFLE TO SEE WHO GETS TO BE IN THE FIRST 100. THAT RICHARD COLEY IS CRAZY HE DROVE FLORIDA TO CALIF TO A GRAND OPENING HE WENT TO SOME GRAND OPENINGS ON HIS WAY AND ON HIS WAY BACK. HE CARRYS RED 6 GALLON PLASTIC GAS CANS IN HIS TRUCK AND BUYS THE GAS WHERE IT IS THE CHEAPEST HE HAS TO BE CRAZY TO HAUL GAS IN HIS TRUNK. HE HAS FINALLY BEAT MY RECORD I'AM UP TO 33 GRAND OPENINGS BUT I DON'T HAVE TO BUY FUEL FOR MY CAR I HAVE A 83 DIESEL MERCEDES 300TD STATION WAGON THAT RUNS ON USED COOKING OIL FOR FREE :}:}:} I DID A 3827 MILE VEGGIE VACATION THIS YEAR IN THE CAR. DROVE 720 MILES TO RICHMOND KY GRAND OPENING AND 250 PEOPLE SHOWED UP AND THEY DID A RAFFLE AND I DIDN'T GET IN. I WAS ON MY WAY TO VISIT MY MOM IN PA. VEGGIE OIL MAN CLEARWATER,FLA. USA
