Another scandal may be developing at the Air Force Academy. Officers at the prestigious military school are investigating if freshmen cadets cheated on a crucial exam.
The 25-question certification test covers military concepts. Students have to pass the test to be certified as cadets.
The investigation began when faculty noticed statistical variations in the results. A lieutenant colonel at the school says 70 students were questioned and about half admitted stealing the answers and not following the honor code which forbids cheating. The Academy will question more students.
The has 1150 freshmen cadets.
