i lived in the apartment that caught fire first, can't say what started the fire. thanks to my neighbor and a passer-by who awoke me and my husband by banging on my door. my mother's neighbor in broomfield is doing a reverse garage sale and collecting donations for all units in building 4150 (they condemned the building; my apartment and one neighbor's were gutted). If you'd like to donate J (or anyone!), you can give her a call at (303)995-3284 (jan guyer).

j, the fire department usually takes donations for fire victims, as well as other accidents. Just tell them where you want it to go. They took donations for a nephew of mine last year when he was mauled by a pit bull and saw to it his mom got them. Anonymous, of course they're not overpaid. JUST ME, we need our firefighters and police, that's true. And there's plenty of funding to keep them all employed. Don't buy into the scare tactics or tantrums the city will throw.

Hopefully people wake up and realize they messed up by denying the funding. We NEED our fire fighters as much as we NEED our police!!!!!!!!!!

i lived in these apartments a few years ago.. not sure what caused the fire.. be intreasted to find out.. but. they were umm.. pretty shabby?? as in the heaters were pretty old.. my unit the heater was jammed in a little closet with no vents. depending on the unit they had there own little laundry room.. and the dryer vents were never cleaned out. i was always worried that would cause a fire.. sorry for the familys that were displaced im sure some of them were military since this place is so close to carson.. is there anywhere we can drop of donations??
