Ft. Carson Soldiers Killed

Two soldiers from Fort Carson have been killed by a roadside bomb in Baghdad.

The military said Monday that PFC Walter Freeman Junior of Lancaster, California and PFC Derek A. Gibson of Eustis, Florida were killed Wednesday. Both men were 20 years old.

They were assigned to Fort Carson's Second Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, Second Brigade Combat Team, Second Infantry Division.

At least 192 soldiers from the post near Colorado Springs have died in Iraq since the invasion four years ago.
