Army General David Petraeus, Commander of U.S. Central Command, happened to be taking to cadets on Thursday at the Air Force Academy.

General Petraeus didn't talk about the shooting at Fort Hood in Texas. He stuck to his speech on leadership.

The general told cadets about the progress being made in Iraq and Afghanistan and how they will make a difference in the military when they graduate from the academy.

The general also visited with injured soldiers at a Homefront Cares dinner Wednesday night at the Broadmoor.
