Prosecutors completed their closing arguments in their case against the decorated Gulf War veteran accused of shooting his wife and dumping her body in trash bin outside his work.
The 41-year-old is charged with first-degree murder in the November 2001 death of his wife, Jennifer. Mesa County District Attorney Frank Daniels described Blagg's behavior the day his wife and daughter disappeared.
Public Defender David Eisner told the jury the prosecution lacked hard evidence and settled on charging Blagg because there was no one else to charge.
The defense has argued that an intruder killed Jennifer Blagg.
