After a mild Saturday, temperatures to finish the weekend will be MUCH colder! A system to our west pushes into SE Colorado overnight. Snow showers will be possible by early Sunday morning across the I-25 corridor with a change to rain and snow showers through the afternoon. Accumulation should be minimal as most moisture looks to be light and temperatures will warm into the upper 30s and 40s through the afternoon. The main impact will be the cold along with winds gusting up to 40 mph at times. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
Colorado Springs police have a lead in a shooting that happened over the weekend.
Police are looking for the driver of a light blue Honda CRX.
Early Sunday morning, police say the driver of that car got into an argument with Aaron Cerna at the intersection of Garden of the Gods and Chestnut.
After the argument, police say Cerna was shot then crashed his Jeep Wrangler into the side of the former Hungry Farmer restaurant.
Detectives aren't saying if they think the driver of the Honda CRX is responsible for shooting Cerna. They also don't know the relationship between the two. They're leaning toward the possibility the whole thing could be a road rage incident.
Springs police are asking people to watch out for a light blue Honda CRX.
They'd also like to hear from anyone who may have first hand knowledge about the shooting.
Late Monday evening, Cerna remained in serious condition.
