Spring storms can leave some homeowners scrambling to protect flowers and trees.
Don Frazier from Greenside Nursery has some advice. He says if you have flowering plants in pots you can simply bring them inside.
If you have flowers in bloom outside your home, Don recommends putting a blanket over them during a storm, but he doesn't recommend using plastic. If the sun returns, the plants can quickly overheat.
As for trees, Don says the best advice he can offer is to go outside every so often and knock the snow off the limbs so that they won't break.
