Another big "Welcome Home" for Fort Carson soldiers. So far, 11 hundred soldiers have come back home over the weekend alone.
Sunday night, more than 300 from the 3rd ACR are home after spending a year serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The soldiers are so glad to be home and, even though they were separated form their families for a year, they say they had a mission to complete.
On Monday, the Army post will make room for even more soldiers. But that return will bear some significance as the commander of the 3rd ACR arrives. It marks the point where half the troops of the 3rd ACR are already home.
