Update: Phone Lines Now Working in Chipita Park and Cascade
While accumulating snow has ended for Colorado Springs and Pueblo, snow (heavy at times) will continue north and northeast of Colorado Springs. A strong north wind will also create areas of blowing and drifting snow along with reduced visibility in these areas A BLIZZARD WARNING remains in effect through tonight for Northern El Paso County northward to the Denver Metro Area. Travel is NOT advised in this area.

Update: Phone Lines Now Working in Chipita Park and Cascade
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has received confirmation the phone service which was unavailable in Chipita Park and Cascade earlier Thursday is functioning. Following a lapse in phone service from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office from folks the Chipita Park and Cascade areas that the phone lines are not working.

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has received confirmation the phone service which was unavailable in Chipita Park and Cascade earlier Thursday is functioning again.

The phone lines were not working for several hours earlier Thursday.
