A man wanted in Pueblo for murder has been arrested in Nebraska.

The Norfolk Nebraska Police Department arrested 28-year-old Jayson Oslund Wednesday. Oslund had been on the run since early September after a warrant was issued for his arrest for the murder of 18-year-old Mathew Maez.

Maez was found severely beaten in a vacant field near Joplin and Fir Street in Pueblo on September 5. Oslund allegedly returned to a party the night of the beating and bragged about it to friends.

Maez was taken to Parkview Hospital but died from his injuries days later.

Osland was wanted for First Degree Murder and bond has been set at $1 million.
