Roads are icy in spots that saw accumulating snow yesterday. Allow yourself plenty of extra time this morning and dress warmly, as wind chills are in the single digits and teens for many. A second disturbance will bring another round of snow showers to the Front Range this afternoon and early evening. While not as heavy as yesterday, some additional light accumulations over the higher terrain will be possible, including Teller and Northern El Paso Counties. Highs in the 30s and 40s will feel colder when factoring a blustery northwest wind. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
A special “Thank You” on Monday for Colorado’s military personnel. Hundreds of servicemen and women were honored during a ceremony at the State Capitol in Denver.
The Colorado House of Representatives took time out to pay tribute to Colorado veterans, National Guard members and soldiers from Fort Carson.
Governor Bill Owens thanked the men and women for their service in Iraq. "You know the measure of a country is found in the men and women it sends to defend us. When we look at the long line of soldiers who've protected us, we see exactly why America is and always will be the greatest nation on earth."
The governor also took time to take pictures with the troops.
