Colorado Springs Utilities announced a road closure on Bijou Street for a one-block radius between Claremont Street and Chelton Road.

Spokesperson for Colorado Springs Utilities, Gabriel Romero, says the a water main break Monday afternoon caused road damage in the area.

The road will be closed in that area until crews will be able to repair the road damage. As of Monday morning at 8 a.m., the road was still closed.
