Colorado State Patrol says two people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident that closed Highway 67 between Cripple Creek and Divide for several hours Sunday night. Crews were able to clear it up around 11 p.m. Sunday, but it did cause some big backups while it was shut down.
The injuries do not appear to be serious, but exact injuries are not known at this point. The cause of the accident appears to have been weather related with slick roads up in the mountains causing for a slow-moving and at times, very problematic commute.
