Vice-President Visit

For the third time in five months, Vice President Dick Cheney stumped in Colorado today to raise money.

The visit was to help G-O-P Representative Bob Beauprez, who's seeking re-election in a district he won by just 121 votes two years ago.

Cheney joked about the narrow victory, saying he and President Bush know a little something about close elections.

Cheney helped Beauprez collect some 300-thousand dollars from about 150 contributors who munched on hot dogs and potato chips at
Coors Field.

Contributors paid one-thousand dollars a plate for the lunch, and two-thousand to also have their picture taken with Cheney.

The vice president did not acknowledge the presence of former Republican Representative and current Senate candidate Bob Schaffer.
