Hundreds packed Stargazers Theater Monday to voice their opinion on the future of health care during a town hall style meeting. Police were present because it got so heated. You could hear screaming and yelling during most of the hour long event.

The town hall meeting, put on by Representative Doug Lamborn, turned into a debate and even a screaming match.

"Tell the truth...Please everyone be civil. We are civil we want the truth," says Rep. Lamborn and people in the audience.

What was supposed to be a question and answer session about healthcare had people on both sides of the issue screaming to make their voices heard. "No matter all your hollering out there, we are broke, and he's trying to make a miracle to happen with a bunch of lunatics in Washington," says another attendee.

Republican Lamborn is against the proposed universal healthcare. "I am against government run healthcare. I would like take the existing program and fix what's wrong with what we have now, instead of government taking over so much," says Rep. Lamborn.

But those for it wanted answers. "Address the fact that this is not socialized medicine and it's a health reform plan by president Obama thank you," says Ellen Levy, who is for organized healthcare.

"I am saying that people need to listen to all sides of the problem of the issue that they can't just say i have what i have and no one else deserves it," says Nancy Thaler, who is for organized healthcare.

More than 600 people packed into the theater today, leaving it standing room only.

Representative Lamborn says he feels that a government run healthcare would lead to rationing and would eventually hurt our economy.

Fat people are already denied health insurance... and even those who have insurance are denied care simply because no matter what illness or injury they show up at the doctor with, it is almost always blamed on their weight. Even things like concussions because someone threw something at them -- if they were "normal" that would not happen you see. But then, I don't expect that someone who cannot figure out how to turn off their caps lock key would ever look up anything on their own, it is after all easier to buy into the multi-million dollar diet industries "war on obesity". Diets don't work, 98% of the time any weight lost and then some will come back within 5 years. Even the beloved stomach mutilation experiments (gastric bypass, lap band, etc) -- within 5 years the few who survived the surgery and the complications have stopped losing weight and most have started gaining it again.

WHO ARE WE KIDDING.THERE WILL NEVER BE REFORM .IN THE MORNING NEWSCAST THERE WERE 2 STORIES ABOUT INSURANCE COMPANIES REFUSING COVERAGE .ONE WAS BECAUSE THE LITTLE GIRL WAS UNDER WEIGHT.THE OTHER BECAUSE THE 4 MONTH BABY WAS OVER WEIGHT.BUT THERE ARE 250 MILLION REASONS WHY THERE WILL NEVER BE REFORM THATS HOW MUCH MONEY THE DRUG COMPANIES ,INSURANCE COMPANIES HAVE SPENT TO BLOCK ANY REFORM . THE REPUBLICANS DONT WANT IT THERE ARGUMENT IT ABOUT TAXES AND DEATH PANELS .NO REAL PLANS !!!!! THEY DONT FEEL IT BROKE. HERES A PLAN IF KIDS CAN BE REFUSED HEALTHCARE BECAUSE OF WEIGHT SO SHOULD OLD PEOPLE BECAUSE THERE ARE LOT MORE FAT OLD PEOPLE THAN YOUNG KIDS .
