A 41 year old Colorado Springs man who has often clashed with the law has been ordered jailed for almost three years for cursing a judge.
The Gazette quoted Christopher M. Bass as saying he was angry and frustrated after being acquitted on drug charges in his latest skirmish.
He cursed District Judge Robert Lowrey not once, but three times.
Then told him to shut up.
Lowrey, who said he wasn't personally offended sentenced Bass to 33 months in jail, in January.
Bass had already been in jail on the drug charge since October.
Bass, who has been acquitted on several charges previously, has a 10 million dollar lawsuit against police, alleging harassment.
Court records show he failed to show up for several court hearings.
Monday he goes on trial on a felony menacing charge.
