Sexual Misconduct in Colorado's Dioceses

A new report from Colorado's Roman Catholic dioceses says at least 15 clergy members have been accused of sexual misconduct over the past 50 years.

Dioceses in Pueblo and Colorado Springs were among 80 of the nation's 195 Roman Catholic dioceses that have publicly released
information they compiled for a national survey examining sexual
abuse allegations. A final report is expected later this month.

The Diocese of Pueblo reported 16 claims of abuse had been made against 12 clergy members as far back as 1950. The diocese reported
having paid $403,000 to alleged victims.

The Diocese of Colorado Springs reported three clergy being
accused dating back to the 1980s.

The state's largest diocese -- in Denver -- has not yet released
its findings.
