Pueblo Weapons Ban

By  |

Pueblo county commissioners have banned the open carrying of weapons on county property.

They are following the lead of Pueblo and Colorado Springs City Council members, who implemented similar bans last year. The issue was brought to the forefront after Don Ortega legally brought a disassembled shot gun into Colorado Springs council chambers back in July to make a statement.

The county property ban does not apply to law enforcement officers. Signs will be posted to notify people of the change.
