A Colorado Springs judge has rejected a defense request to delay a preliminary hearing for a man accused of fatally shooting a policeman.
Public defender Kim Karn Friday said she hadn't received all the information she has requested from the prosecution in the case of 25 year old Marco Lee Reiner.
He is charged with first-degree murder in the death of policeman Kenneth Jordan in December.
Prosecutors said they had provided most of the information and would deliver the rest next week.
District Judge David Miller ruled the hearing could go on as scheduled May 25th.
