The symptoms of the H1N1 virus has sent an already ill 13-year-old to the hospital. 11 news first reported on the family with six of 10 children presumed to have H1N1 on Sunday.

Monday morning, the fragile boy got so ill that he was taken to the hospital for treatment. The family tells us the 13-year-old is on a ventilator.

Most of the cases being seen in southern Colorado have been mild, but as we've seen when symptoms get severe they can even become deadly. This is just another reminder to take the virus seriously.

Matthew, you were loved and you are now loved in God's arms. You were a star here on earth for all to see. Now you shine more brightly than any star that is known. You are now laughing, smiling, and singing God's praises. Rest in peace little one. Rest in peace.

We continue to pray for you Matt and your entire family. God loves you and holds you so close. When I look at your face or that of any of your siblings, I see Our Lord looking back at me. I hope all can truly see Christ in you and in your family as I do. You are a blessing to all who meet you.
