The biggest concern for this afternoon/evening will be frigid temperatures. Highs will only max in the teens and 20s with breezy conditions and wind chills in the single digits. Throughout the afternoon, a few light snow showers are possible. Any accumulations should stay under 1" and is not a big concern. About 10,000 Fort Carson soldiers are coming home by April and many will have to look for jobs in an already tight market.
The Army Career and Alumni Program estimates as many as half of those people will be entering the work force and many of them for the first time.
The Army Career Center helps with resumes and interviews and works with businesses and work centers to help those leaving the military find civilian jobs.
The center is adding career counselors to help with the expected spike in workload.
