I say Pueblo, you say P-u-weblo. In case you haven't noticed, people pronounce Pueblo several different ways. The question is, is there a right or wrong way to say it?
Pueblo is the spanish word for a town or village. But, since it was named, many different cultural groups have flocked to the city and bringing with them, different pronunciations.
At least one of the variations stems from the city's steel mill, and the odor it brought to town. Hence the new pronunciation "Peewblo."
Turns out, the correct way to say it is "Pweh-blow."
