Prosecutors have filed first-degree murder charges against two men accused of shooting a restaurant worker to death last October.
Davon Tyrone Thomas, age 18, and 23-year-old Tecarra Lee Graham are charged with first-degree murder and attempted armed robbery in the death of Robert Vigil. The 35-year-old Taco Bell employee was killed while riding home from a late shift at the restaurant.
Graham is a Fort Carson soldier who recently returned from Iraq. Thomas told police that Graham shot Vigil because he was mad the victim didn't have any money on him. Police say Thomas confessed to driving the car on the night Vigil was killed.
A preliminary hearing for both is set for March 5.
